The publication of our cookbook, Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler is the culmination of a lifetime of cooking and entertaining. With my wife, Carol, I’ve pursued this avocation for over 41 years. We have had some wonderful times, met hundreds of people and gained loads of experience along the way. We’ve cooked and served more great meals than we can count. The backbone of the book is the recollection of many of those times and the meals that were served. These recipes are all proven and have been distilled to their essence through years of trial and error. A couple of fine examples of that are the Chicken, Sausage and Pork Jambalaya and the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. I don’t recall ever making a bad one of either, just some that were better than the rest!
We’ve included in this website a page for highlighted recipes, recipes of the month and featured recipes submitted by readers. Additionally, we will include articles about a variety of subjects that are of interest to anyone who likes to cook and entertain.
Check out the product line that currently includes the cookbook, a DVD that is meant to accompany the book and our very own signature seasoning, Celebration Seasonings Cajun Style All Purpose Seasoning Blend. We think you will enjoy all of them. There are plans to enhance the product line with a Classic Memphis Style Rib Rub and a Garlic Mesquite Infused Oil along with a second cookbook that is already in the works. Those future items are on the planning board, but first we have to move a few of the current books and DVD’s.
